Is Dawood Ibrahim poisoned?

The news of Dawood Ibrahim, India’s most wanted terrorist has been poisoned, is in Air. The truth behind the story is yet to be officially accepted by Pakistan which has never claimed his presence.

Dawood Ibrahim has been poisoned and hospitalized on 16.12.2023. Several reports on social media is claiming that he is in critical condition. One of the reports claims that the floor of hospital has been vacated and given a high-level security. He is the only one in the floor and top-level doctors have been arranged to monitor his health.

The truth is yet to be exposed off the Dawood Ibrahim’s poisoned story. Dawood Ibrahim is on the top in the list of most wanted underworld and the news comes up with the relief to Indians. Although, there is a law, and nothing is above law.

Lately, On Monday, The National Investigation Agency (NIA) have busted the Ballari module of proscribed terror group Islamic State with the arrest of eight terrorists.The NIA squads conducted searches at 19 sites situated in Ballari and Bengaluru in Karnataka; Amaravati, Mumbai, and Pune in Maharashtra; Jamshedpur and Bokaro in Jharkhand; along with New Delhi. The arrested were planning to carry out terror acts, especially IED blasts. Is this have any connection with the truth behind Dawood Ibrahim’s being poisoned?

Here are some facts of his life right from his birth and being fugitive:

He started his career with D-company and D-company was named after his elder brother Shabir Ibrahim Kaskar died in gang war with Pathan gang in 1970s. He started his career with committing fraud, theft and robber in very young age. Later on, he joined Baashu Dada and became the part of syndicate gang. This name was coined by Indian Media on considering him as Organized Crime syndicate

Birth and Early Life:

  • Born on December 26, 1955, in Dongri, Mumbai, India.
  • Son of Ibrahim Kaskar, a police constable, and Amina Bi.
  • Grew up in Dongri, a bustling area known for its diverse population.

Entry into Criminal Circles:

  • Head of the Indian organized crime syndicate D-Company, founded in Mumbai in the 1970s.

Rise in Criminal Activities:

  • Wanted by the Indian government on various charges: murder, extortion, targeted killing, drug trafficking, and terrorism.
  • The US agency “Federal Bureau of Investigation” and magazine “Forbes” listed him 3rd most wanted and Forbes.

1993 Mumbai Bombings:

  • Accused of masterminding the coordinated bombings in Mumbai in March 1993.
  • The bombings killed over 250 people and injured numerous others.

Fleeing India:

  • Fled India to evade law enforcement crackdown the bombings.
  • Reportedly shifted base to Dubai and later settled in Pakistan.
  • His properties in Ratnagiri district, Maharashtra, were auctioned by the Indian government in 2020 under the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Property) Act.
  • Three properties, including Rounaq Afroz Restaurant (Delhi Zaika), were auctioned in November 2017.

  • Linked to financing Bollywood studios and films during the 1980s and 1990s.
  • Linked with celebrities like Anita Ayoob and Bollywood actress Mandakini.
  • Involved in extortion, threats, and murders of Bollywood producers like Javed Siddique and Gulshan Kumar.

  • One more movie based on his sister Haseena Parkar, Haseena Parkar (2017) has also been released.
  • “Daddy” (2017) was based on his rival Arun Gawli, featuring a character loosely based on Ibrahim.
  • A comedy film, “Coffee with D,” was also released in 2017.
